The Dutch Society of Queer Theologians is an open, informal community of queer thinking and acting theologians from different Christian denominations in the Netherlands. Queer is both the insult turned for lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgenders as well as a critical attitude towards sexual and gendered identities. Critically and creatively queer theologians address questions of faith and sexual diversity. The core task of the Society of Queer Theologians is to unite queer theologians for reflection, socialising, and action, primarily at its biannual meetings.
